I strongly agree that employers should help their employers cop with job-related stress and off-the-job stress as the stress will lead to poor performance in their work area hence low production on the company side.

Some of the ways in which employers can help their employees in handling their stresses is by having counselling programs sponsored by the company, this will at least help those who can not afford the counselling sessions. Also team-building where the whole team in a company is brought together and do social activities together as a team.

Personal control is also advice in companies as the employees will have some power to control what they do within the organization in terms of workload ,overtime and also their work environment.

Ensuring that the employees get to understand fully what their roles are in the company to avoid conflicts within the organisation. This will ensure their is smooth cohesion within the organization. Supporting the employees with inviting coaches and mentors to help them understand better their roles and help them build their esteem high on their day to day lives.

In conclusion, we have seen various ways in which employers can help their employees reduce their stress both off-the -job stress and job-related stress, with doing all these the organization is assured of good productivity in the their employees job, good relationship between the employer -employees , good turn up in the working environment and keenness in the employees as they do their work as they know they will be rewarded gloriously in job well done.
