Organizational performance is the process to enhance both the organization's effectiveness and well-being through planned interventions. Factors that are vital in understanding individuals contribution to stipulate performance of an organization include;

a)     Motivation- this is a primary force that drives a person willing to work in an organization. It engages an individual in working towards an organizational goal and setting objectives, thus positively influencing its performance.

b)     Competence- this is the extent to which a person regards himself capable of performing a job based on his competency level.

c)     Ability- this is the perception of a person concerning his knowledge that entails attributes of a specific field and skill to perform a job. The practical exposure and theoretical knowledge together make one surpass in work performance.
