Sam needs to ensure that his employees are always motivated and feel part of the organization for them to volunteer freely to work overtime as this will ensure their morale is improved massively. Sam should ensure that his employees are valued as members of the team that are valued and not just as numbers. This can be achieved by ensuring that whenever the organization exceeds, the results should always be celebrated as a team. Sam also needs to transparent with his employees to facilitate free communication in case there is any issue at the workplace. Above all, rewards can be introduced to those that take up overtime tasks frequently.
