Water pollution is a challenge that is mainly caused by wastewater. Wastewater is discarded back into the surroundings, polluting oceans, lakes, and rivers. The persistent problem of water pollution is risking the health of human beings. Notably, hazardous water kills more persons each year than war and all other forms of violence joint. In utmost parts of our state, waste water from home sources is hardly treated. The contamination is due to insufficient sanitation facilities. The wastewater, containing an extremely organic impurity load, finds its way into surface and groundwater progressions near the purlieu of human tenancy from where further water is drawn for usage. Therefore, substantial investments should be done to install the treatment systems to minimize water pollution.
