Case No. 2: Rider B has been always late in delivering food orders. You have learned
that he delays one food delivery or two in order for him to save on fuel.
In the monthly performance evaluation, he has the most food deliveries.
However, he has a low score on promptness or on-time delivery. What
will you do as his immediate supervisor?
After discovering that the rider delays food deliveries to save on fuel, though in a month, the rider has the highest number of food deliveries. As a manager, to assist the rider in enhancing score on promptness or on-time delivery, I would recommend the management increase the payment rate for the rider for thirty-percent of every delivery. I believe raising the minimum wage will improve employees' output that translates into companies providing higher-quality services.
Moreover, since businesses are attaining enhanced performance from employees in return for compensating them more, an advanced minimum wage does not essentially bring about fewer jobs. Since many clients are eager to pay more when quality advances, a business can raise its charges without losing sales capacity. This shows that revenues need not writhe even if workers' incomes increase.
