How aviation insurance is processed

One is asked to give the photographs of the damage to document the registration number. Once the insurance company is satisfied, they typically request the estimates of the repair. The company usually requires more than one assessment and could be difficult depending on circumstances. The owners of the aircraft have the responsibility to authorize any work order. However, the adjustor still is allowed to review the estimates and discuss the repairs before the commission of work.
