The main difference between these two types of banks is the interest that they have in the two different type of sectors. This is because in the commercial bank sector, central bank normally has its stakes while it comes to private banks, it doesn’t have any stakes to control. The other main difference is that private banks have few selective clients while commercial banks have wide customer base.
