Task 02
Society is composed of different social classes with people of different behaviors. Managers are advised to be strategic and critical thinkers in decision making without having to access deep information. This can only be realized by being sensitives to the emotions of people and their own emotions.
Among many roles of emotions, researchers have proven that emotions can sometimes help in making rapid judgments and arriving at conclusion in the immediate time that was necessary. Moreover, emotions influence the morality of an individual's judgment. Emotion is a major factor that managers should be concerned about but ensure that the final decision arrived at is professional and maintains competitive management(Intezari & Pauleen, 2018). I once got emotional when a drunkard staff mate got fired while in an unstable mood and I was moved to convince my boss to issue the punishment when the employee is sober that will create an atmosphere for dialogue.
Task 03
From this example, I was pained that my workmate was going to lose the job that supported his family while at the same time it was unprofessional for him to report to work drunk. My boss made an unprofessional decision to issue a termination letter to an employee that was in the right sense of defending the indiscipline act. Disciplinary action was to be conducted when the employee is sober and the case handled in the right committee majorly by involving human resource management and possibly warning letters to be first issued to identify whether the indiscipline was intentional.
