Mannerism art was created between 1520 and 1600, while Renaissance developed around 1300 and 1500. From the Renaissance painting of Leonardo da Vinci, Virgin and Child with Saint John the Baptist has perfect ratios and proportions that reflect on classical ideas. As well, from Mannerist painter, Parmogianino's Madonna with the long neck reflects on intimate motion between mother and child, which focuses on elegance and grace of subjects and composition.
