Writers were attracted to Hollywood because of the invention of sound and motion pictures which eased the production of the film industry as well as providing economic support for those who were seeking job opportunities. Film production in Hollywood had an impact on American society. It led to the collapse of Capitalism at home and the introduction of fascism abroad. Additionally, the present of the artist from other states led to the introduction of communist parties that catered for the needs of these immigrants.
