Force labor was practiced in the Philippines. Our colonizers are Roman Catholic Christians. Is this kind of practice a will of God? If it is not, how does it serve the benefit of the masses or the benefit of the colonizers?

The Philippines is roughly 85% Christian (primarily Roman Catholic), 10% Muslim, and 5% 'other' religions, such as Chinese Taoist-Buddhist religious beliefs and 'indigenous' animistic beliefs held by some peoples in highland areas that fought Spanish colonial power for 300 years.
