works for that country. But every country whether stated by law or daily indoctrination and enforcement does it. Rizal law removes people’s ability to think for themselves and those that are immune to the herd mentality are ostracized and mocked for their lack of belief in the system and their refusal to walk lockstep with the majority. These are the ons that see through the fog of patriotism and nationalism straight to the truth. The Rizal Law is about implementing rules to educate people about the Life, Works, and Writings of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal, especially his novels Noli Me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. This is to give the students and the future generations an ample background and for them to understand about how Jose Rizal hands over his life for our country.

Rizal law is very effective in instilling patriotism among secondary school students, not just to them, but to all young people, because it encourages and influences us to be a law-abiding person, selfless and socially responsible, all for the sake of the nation. Rizal law often empowers a person to position his/her country and fellow-citizens first, before one's self, in everything that he/she does. It is also patriotism that empowers individuals to think not only what is good for themselves now, but of what is good for the country at that time, days, years, and generations to come.
