Industrialization resulted in the deterioration of the working conditions of workers. With this and the need to produce many products faster, employees got exposed to dangers such as cramped work environments with poor ventilation. Also, the heavy machinery used in the industrial revolution caused trauma to employees not used to the heavy noise. Health risks to workers such as exposure to solvents, specks of dust, and heavy metals affected the working conditions of the employees. Moreover, long work durations during industrialization resulted in tiredness and burnouts that affected the workers. Additionally, some factories utilized machines that were unsafe and dirty resulting in deaths and injuries of the workers.
