a)Empirical evidence is the information that is gathered through observation or by undertaking an experiment whereas historical evidence are material that historians use to collect and present the data collected such as  documents, artifacts, archaeological sites, features among others.


b)Following the disintegration of the Soviet union powers in 1991, the US became a sole hegemonic power.


The dominion of the US in military, economic, cultural aspects over other nations to show her supremacy.


c) The hegemonic power of the US is slowly vanishing.

China's size, economic power and as well as her military power in East Asia, puts her in an hegemonic position in the region.


China has already become a global hegemon in recent years, threatening the position of the United States and the entire Western world.


d) The US is a Status-quo state which is contented to preserve the essential characteristics of the existing international order and the general distribution of power.
