Traditional tribal government and provision land purchases to enlarge reservations.

The Dawes Act, 1887 played a key role in replacing the reserve system. However, this Indian Reservation system was created to lead the Native Americans out of the lands. The BIA funds were reliable in were of great help to the Native Americans Reservations. Its collected funds were spent on these tribes purchasing lands, building facilities, and solving other matters of concern, hence enlarging the reservations (Pindus & Hafford, 2019).
