The West Philippine Sea is the country's vital economic area. This zone is an essential route for gas, oil and other valuables. The current leadership under president Duterte seems to lack clear economic policy on this matter. There seems to be no link between the line agencies and the current top leadership of the country.

Security analysts insists that currently, China does not respect the country because of the weak leadership.The next President is likely to aim at restoring the country's economy by dealing with China's supremacy. The 2022 election is likely to bring influence to its operations. The new president should be ready to check the Chinese dominance in the area.

The Filipinos expect a president who will secure their independence and sovereignty for the future generation. The people insist that the country is not a province of China and therefore, the next leadership should restore their independence.
