why did the muslim object to nehru report?
Muslim reaction to Nehru Report
The main aim was to distinct voters and weightage during the 1916 congress-Muslim league agreement. On 9th march 1929, the report was given in the Indian Muslim League. The Muslim leaders rejected it because they considered it as a death warrant since it was recommending joining the electoral rolls for them and the Hindus. Therefore, the Muslim objected the report (Jha, 2020).
