I don't agree that the South African war of 1899-1902 cannot be regarded as a white man's war, since even though it was fought to establish which authority of whites had real power over others, other ethnic groups in the country were involved. The involvement other African ethnics groups cancels the aspect of the war being regarded as a white man's war. Some of the groups involved in the war a part from the whites include the Zulu, Xhosa, Swazis and Basotho and Sothos
