The colonized countries had to engage themselves into a struggle through the fight for freedom since the colonizers didn't want to give them the freedom. This was because, they colonizers would get free raw materials like gold from their colonies as well as free labor in their plantation. Therefore, the fight for freedom was something that could not be avoided since the colonized countries needed freedom
