Towns and cities of the roman empire collapsed in the medieval ages as a result of western influence (western schism); the population reduced in roman cities and towns and eventually declined into insignificance during the medieval period. At this time, there was no constructions going on in the cities thus affecting economic activities and the survival of the people. After the Roman empire’s collapse, Roman infrastructure was abandoned, and people in the cities and towns transformed into new socio-political.
