Question 3

History is incomplete and consists of gaps, thus limiting its use. For example, the role of SIGINT was neglected for a long time due to the absence of ULTRA secrets in understanding the Cold war (Andrew, 2018). If ULTRA were not decoded, historians would still deny the role of SIGINT in the second world war.

Question 4

1. Hegel was a German philosopher who established the concept of absolute idealism.

2. Hegel argued that Africa is unhistorical because of undeveloped spirits; he noted that Africa is involved in devoid morality and mere nature, thus justifying Britain’s colonization of Africa and enslavement of the Africans (Stone, 2020).

3. Yes, I agree because African leaders and people did not realize that they have to establish a solid political coalition until they were colonized. As a result of Britain’s invasion, Africans realized that it was time to protect the continent against neo-colonial forces.
