US military and technological developments contributed to the end of the world war in various ways. The US military was equipped with ballistic missiles, armored vehicles, and submarines which made it look superior in comparison to it's enemy. Additionally, since it was more developed technologically it developed nuclear weapons that were smaller but very lethal. This made the enemy fear in going into war with the United States hence resulting into the end of the cold war.
