The League of Nations was ultimately ineffective and this was revealed when Italy invaded which country?
Under the leadership of dictator Italy, Benito Mussolini Invaded and attacked Abyssinia, current Ethiopia, in 1935, disputing the regulations of the League of Nations. The League of Nations tried to stop the aggression of Italy in capturing Addis Ababa through bans and suctions. Still, the efforts failed to ban the trading of oil that Italy participated in across the Suez. Italy collaborated with the British, who controlled the Suez Canal, which was not closed by the League of Nations.
