The tone of the poem is candid. The message is so truthful and bold.

2) Analysis: Based on the small portion you viewed, what do you think the main point of this 1950s documentary was? It was all about communist occupying the land.

a) Analysis: What does that tell you about life in the 1950s in America?

In 1950s, America was full of communists though it was hard to identify some hence making life challenging. In that period, it was difficult to identify someone as a communist unless by watching lifestyle and the respond to the actions of other communists.

3) Analysis: What impacts of the Red Scare and McCarthyism on American society can you see from watching this video?

There was a fear of anything that liken communism or anarchy. If you were a member of the Communist Party, you were a prime suspect. Homes were raided; meeting places were swept. People were taken to jails.

4) Analysis and Contextualization: How could this documentary have contributed to the atmosphere of paranoia and suspicion among American citizens in the 1950s?

Members of the communist parties became the prime suspects and they could continue with the normal lifestyle due to fear of jail or any other torture. In this video, a daughter of a suspected young member of communist is being taken away from the family and no one can stop.
