In your opinion, does globalization help to benefit developing countries as multinational corporations bring jobs to people? Or does globalization promote exploitation and fosters social inequality in job market as women and young people are paid less than men for the same work, experiences and numbers of hours of work as Feminist theorists and conflict theorists believe? and why?
For them increasing globalization has helped the expansion of opportunities for nations and benefited workers in rich and poor countries alike. Brings positive benefits for consumers, helping to increase choice, drive down prices, improve services and create new jobs and opportunities. This is especially true of global income inequality. A common narrative frames globalization as the cause of inequality: by shifting low-skilled jobs from wealthier countries to poorer countries, economic integration has increased inequality within countries while lowering inequality between them.
