The Mexican-American War was an armed disagreement between the United States and Mexico as from 1846 to 1848.The war resulted from the US's annexation of Texas in 1845 and as a result if Texas ended at the Nueces River the Rio Grande .The Texans developed anger towards the Mexicans since the war opened a new land to slavery.
