Difference between Civilization and Culture

First, civilization is different from the culture in the sense that civilization advances and gets improved with time while culture doesn’t improve nor advance but rather corrodes at times. Therefore, there is a sense in which one cannot say that today’s culture is better than the previous ones. Secondly, there is a lot of ease in the transfer of civilization from one generation to the other. For instance, civilization equipment like TV, building, etc., can be transferred without the necessary use of effort. On the other hand, the transfer of culture from one generation requires effort in the context of intelligence and teaching. For one generation to acquire cultural values of the previous generation, there must be teaching and learning effort, and intelligence therefore required. The third difference that exists between civilization and culture is that civilization can be successfully borrowed and use in another context without necessarily making changes and adjustments. However, when culture is borrowed, there must be adjustments to make it fit in ten new environments or context in which it will be used.
