European imperialism is the condition in which the Europeans occupied other countries like the African countries by forcefully extending their territories for economic and political gains. The colonialism led to industrialization due to the availability of raw materials in other nations they dominated. The existing cottage industries sailed in corruption as people opted to use manufactured products. Therefore, many people in the local sectors lost their jobs. There emerged different economic classes, unlike when people were agriculturists, there existed a common economic class. The citizens from the dominant nations occupied the lower economic class, where they hardly managed their families. Working under harsh conditions and low payments with higher taxes was a frustration. Their children were not able to get higher education like those of more top-class people. This made them protest for equality in education and other social amenities. When societies were agriculture in nature, the land was communal. There were no restrictions on where one would farm. The food harvested was shared among members of the community. After that, each European nation had its territory in the dominated countries, resulting in conflicts when territorial borders were disrespected.
