I don’t want to know what day it is or where I am. None of that matters.” Write about the quotes and/or your assessment of Chris McCandless so far? Jon Krakauer quotes one of McCandless’s friends, who said that McCandless “was born into the wrong century. He was looking for more adventure and freedom than today’s society gives people” (p. 174). Do you think this is true?
