What is the difference between a vice grip and a wrench in terms of their structure and functions?
Vice grips are utilized for almost any purpose you can think of. They can temporarily hold a long straight edge on plywood to define a line for home construction. If the bolt heads are not too tight, they can also be used to remove them.
The handle of a set of vise grip pliers contains three pivot points. The handle pivots around a lower pivot point, causing the distance between the adjusting point (the second pivot point). Finally, the third pivot point, positioned at the pliers' jaw, is pushed shut.
A wrench is essentially a strong lever with a notch at one or both ends for holding the bolt or nut in such a way that it may be twisted by pulling on the wrench at right angles to the lever's and the bolt's or nut's axes.
