a. Write an expression for β€˜y’ as a function of 𝒗 and time.


b. If 𝒗 = 𝟐𝟎 π’Ž/𝒔, what is the maximum displacement and acceleration of the


body of the vehicle? Also add a matlab plot for this condition (input


displacement β€˜y’ vs time and output displacement β€˜x’ vs time on a single plot


with legend)


c. For what values of 𝒗 in m/s will the maximum displacement of the body be


limited to 4.5 mm?


d. For what value of 𝒗 the maximum displacement will be maximum? Find the


maximum displacement for that 𝑣.
