Design a circuit of General register organization in which 4 registers are there from R0 to R3.
(a) Perform the following microoperation and explain the operation in the steps through the
diagram properly: - AND R3 ,R3 ,R1 .
(b) Explain the control word as per the register configuration given above. [10 marks]
AND R3,R3,R1
R1 contains 10010011 and
R3 contains 01010101
Then R3 will contain 00010001 after AND operation.
The control register's contents are referred to as the control word, which determines the input/output functions of each port. By choosing AD 1 and AD 0 in high conditions, i.e. both ON, the control word register may be accessed to write the control word. This registration is not accessible for reading.
