Initial velocity=80mph

Final velocity =40mph

Time=6 seconds 

Braking deceleration =(80mph-40mph)6 sec

Braking deceleration =(40mph)6 sec

Braking deceleration =(17. 8816 m/s) 6 sec

Braking deceleration =107.28m/s2
