1.   A pump pumps 20-degree water corresponding to 50 liters / s between two tanks. The tanks have a level difference of 50 m (water must be pumped to a higher level). Calculate the pump head if the pipe has a length and diameter of 100 m and 150 mm respectively. Assume that the friction factor is about 0.032. Also appreciate how rough the pipe is.
