According to the World Health Organization, people who live in high- and middle-income countries predominantly die from chronic diseases related to lifestyle or diseases of civilization.

The number of reasons for the emergence of diseases of civilization is constantly increasing. The most common ones that affect the likelihood of getting sick include:

Passive lifestyle;

Sedentary work;

Lack of physical activity;

Taking stimulant and illegal supplements;

Constant stress and tension;

The pace of life;

A lifestyle that does not allow for relaxation.

Their causes also include the disappearance of major epidemics and other consequences of social vicissitudes, the interaction of various by-products of economic development.

These two groups of factors are related to a growing number of developing countries: over several years, the average life expectancy of the population of these countries has increased dramatically, and their biological, physical, and social environment has changed. Because of this, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other diseases gradually and inevitably progress. This development can be accelerated by the interaction of old and new risk factors that coexist in some developing countries.
