In contrast to the traditional system of evaluating students' knowledge in the field of economics, online assessment leads to the fact that test technologies are mainly used, when using which it is impossible to investigate how much a student has mastered the skills of critical understanding of economic situations and their consequences. However, on the other hand, online assessment can be used to control fundamental competencies, during the verification of which one can do without a critical analysis of the resulting economic situation.
