corporate governance structure of Aluworks by commenting on the profile of the board
chairman, the other directors, and the specific composition of the sub-committees.
What are the possible implications of this structure on board functions, style and
culture?

In the report, it was stated clearly on page 19 that “the company did not undertake any
corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes during the year”.
What could be the possible implications this action will have on the sustainability of
Aluwork PLC (Draw on some of the theories we learnt about sustainability reporting)

From the report, are there specific indicators that show that the company is in distress?
Use the Altman Z-Score and any other information available in the report including
financial statements and any other specific statements from key stakeholders that show
whether Aluworks is in a distress situation or not.

From the report, state clearly the THREE (3) major shareholders of Aluworks PLC
and the proportion of their shareholdings. Identify whether those shareholders have
control or significant influence on Aluworks and whether Aluworks was right in
presenting separate financial statements. Do you see any issues bordering on
consolidation?
