i have to write a small paper dealing with a topic in microeconomics. would it be appropriate to discuss the difference in cost for beauty services to women versus men. any pointers?

We believe that it`s not absolutely correct to discuss such differences. There are couple of reasons:
1. Beauty service for women is more widely spread and this market is bigger. Because women population is higher than men and also they have different preferences
2. Beauty service for men is more luxury segment of market. Beauty service for women represents in different price segments.
3. Beauty service for women includes more services. It`s service range is bigger
