a) Ban on cigarette smoking may be advantageous as the effect brought about by it will be minimizes. This involves health issues such as breathing system problems will be reduced. As cigarette smoking affects the ones next to the person smoking, many health issues will be minimized.

b) Ban on smoking will be economically efficient since the medication bills that are wasted on such issues will be saved on other situations. Similarly, such drugs jeopardize work performance of a person, therefore ban on it will give people chances to be more active, boosting productivity hence improving the economy.
