We have to find the Price elasticity of cold drinks.

% Change in quantity $= \dfrac{1000-700}{\dfrac{700+1000}{2}} \times 100$ %

$= \dfrac{300}{850}\times 100$ %

$= 35.29$ %

% Change in price $= \dfrac{10-15}{\dfrac{10+15}{2}} \times 100$ %

$= \dfrac{-5}{12.5} \times 100$ %

$= -40$ %

Hence, Price elasticity of demand $= \dfrac{35.29}{-40}$

$= 0.88$
