primary and secondary schooling is free in our country . if parents are given a choice of schools for their children,there will be a shortage of places in popular schools.what method could be used for dealing with this shortage? what are their relative merit?

If people only had more resources, individuals could produce more goods and services and satisfy their wants. It will reduce scarcity and give people more satisfaction. Therefore, the ministry of education should consider elevating more schools to the national level and equipping them with the necessary tools to provide a quality education so that students and parents should consider them while choosing schools. Besides, the government can take the role of placing children in different schools depending on their performance. The two methods will ensure better distribution of students to schools and avoid shortages of popular schools.
