1. RDP is a commitment to eliminate poverty in the context of rapid growth and a more equitable economy and democratic society.

2. GEAR it focused on privatization and the removal of exchange controls. It was aimed at increased private sectors investment, increasing labour opportunities and improved service delivery, creation of employment through investment in infrastructure and human resource development.

3. ISRDP its aim was to better, cordinate existing expenditures AMD delivery.

4. URP it focuses on eight urban nodes of poverty. It aimed at focusing the resources of the government in an integrated manner towards breaking the cycle of underdevelopment in cities.

5.AsgiSa it's objectives were to introduce policies, programmed and inventions that would allow the South African's economy to grow enough so that to eliminate poverty and unemployment.

6. JIPSA it's main aim was to identify solutions to major skills shortages constraining the South Africa's ability to meet the economic growth. Also to increase the Gross Domestic Product which will reduce unemployment by 10%.

7. New growth path as improved on creation of jobs.

8. National development plan it stipulates the country's medium term strategic direction, development priorities and implementation strategies.
