The rapid growth in population and its effect on resource exploitation has led to the emergence of many environmental problems such as air pollution, global warming, deforestation, and oil spillages have become a common occurrence.         

International measures due to failed agreements have failed to curb the use of fossil fuel which is the major cause of global warming/climate change and air pollution. Therefore, this has resulted in extreme weather conditions being witnessed, such as wildfires, melting of ice leading to rising ocean waters, hurricanes, and tornadoes which are causing a lot of damage and deaths. Failure to resolve climate change has led to a lot of environmental problems and only addressing that will make our environment safer.
