South African government has been experiencing ups and downwards in the economy just like the rest of the world. However the government applies the principles of taxation so as to accumulate revenue for government expenditure just like the whole world. In addition the country is also experiencing unemployment among the youths in which it is working on to improve their well being just like the rest of the world.

In contrast South African government has been challenged to reduce inequality and promote growth which has increased the government expenditure over the past decade.
