1)Absolute poverty refers to a situation where individuals are unable to meet their basic needs such as food and clothing and other basic needs and this calls for intervention. some policies such as creation of employment and provide educational literacy maybe implemented to correct address the situation.

2) Relative poverty is partial poverty in which a family affords 50% of minimum wage such that they can partially afford basic needs. some policies to end relative poverty include; provision of paid leave during leave days and increasing the wages by creating adequate job opportunities.
