3. More tax payers. Population growth enhances economic development due to higher tax returns.

4. Business growth. A large population provide better business opportunities, a bigger market and more talent.

Disadvantages of population increase:

1. Conflict and war. A large population lead to a higher chance of disagreement.

2. Poverty. High population lead to less jobs and higher prices creating poverty.

3. Food and land shortages. Food and land resources are limited and the population may grow very fast.

4. Crime increase. Large population lead young youths into robbery for survival due to less jobs.
