Your friend wants to blow whistle and has come to you for guidance. How would you
advice her/him to help determine whether she/he has a greater obligation to the public or
to his/her employer? Make a list of 4-5 tough questions that you need her/him to answer
before she/he blows the whistle. Explain the purpose of each question. (You can pick a
social/environmental or economic issue for whistle blowing)
For the question,we can take a situation wherein employer is using technology which is cheap but is causing a lot of continuos harm to environment,in public though employer has maintained stance that his technology is environment friendly,now in terms of advice with the help of following questions,one can help their friend find the solution to given problem as in whether they are sure what they are saying is correct as anything incorrect can ruin their and many other people's careers and can affect their life,then can they prove it,what their conscious is telling them to do,how will this play out as these after effects are important too,what are costs and benefits of such an approach for them and for employer and public.
