Do you think banks in America have the same problems that the banks in Ukraine do?  

I think Ukraine banks face more problems than American banks. Ukraine has a long history of banks run by mobsters and other shady characters. While every country has its share of bank disasters, including the United States, Ukraine banks are among the worst on earth, and quite possibly the worst in Europe.

What do you think is the best way for Ukraine to influence more foreign investments into the company?

• carrying out political, economic and social reforms
• building-up the democratic state and the open society
• transition to a market economy
• developing stable laws adapted to a new political and economic environment
• incorporation of progressive international practices in various fields of activities.
