Defend this statement:The participants in a closed system is interdependent on each other
Encounters in a closed system occur only within the same system, which ensures that closed systems are separated from the outside world and that all interactions occur only within that closed system.
In the corporate world, such systems are uncommon. Closed systems are those that are relatively disconnected from the environment but are not entirely closed, thus In a Closed System:
- Interactions occur only among the elements in the system
- Boundaries are rigid, restricting inflow or outflow (exchange) of information or matter. . Workers in closed systems within an organization don’t communicate with other departments about their activities, but do receive input from other departments.
- The level of organization declines since there is stagnation due to lack of outside information /consultations that can foster growth
- There is no need for interaction outside of the system in this closed system since all the system needs to run properly is contained within the system. In reality, in this case, external interaction will expose the company to long-term consequences.
