Answer to Question #92013 in Chemistry for Mahnoor Ayaz

Question #92013
Hello! I am performing an experiment on fruit flies this summer for my science research class and need to create 4 different nicotine concentration solutions to put into the fruit fly media. After reading past articles, I plan on creating 4 solutions with 0.6, 1.8, 3.0 and 4.2 mM. And I plan on having each fruit fly vial be filled with 10 grams of the regular fruit fly media. How would I be able to achieve these concentrations in the vials using pure nicotine powder? If possible please list step to step instructions with the conversions because I want to receive accurate data at the end. If I am missing anything in my request please let me know! Thank you!
